Creature 4 Description and research

Creature 4 Description and Research

Creature 4 uses its large horned head and thick strong legs to crack and open trees. It does this to get to he sap inside which it consumes with its long tongue. The entire form of the creature has evolved for this task. its front arms are small and are only used for moving bark out of the way. The animal also eats grass however due to the lack of tree's in the region must eat a varied diet. The animal also competes like goats and elk throwing their weight around and headbutting each other. because of their small front arms getting of the ground when knocked over might be tricky to correct this they have developed long tails, used and both a helping hand for getting up and a large counter weight allowing them to run faster and hit harder.

The Martian: 3 Act Structure

Film Review: The Martian Finding how the Martian sits into the broader idea of a 3 Act structure was fairly easy, as its laid out narratively in 3 very clear acts. However deciding what part of the movies where what in terms of inciting incident, mid point and Climax where harder Distinctions. Inciting Incident This would be where the rest of the astronauts leave our main character Mark Watney on mars after presuming him dead in a storm. He instead doesn't die and manages to make it to the relative safety of the space habitat where he stops himself from bleeding to death. Before the audience is told about marks plans on how to stay alive fighting the main problem he faces in the whole ...

Tool Kit 2: Physical Sky

Tool Kit 2: Physical Sky In this tutorial I learnt about the physical sky in Arnold and how it can be used to easily mimic time of day when rendering exterior shots for animations. Using a variation of elevation, Turbidity, intensity and Azimuth you can create the different angles of sky light you would see in real life. Other settings that can be used to push a stylistic approach include sun tint, sky tint and sun size. These can be used to create strange effects that are stylised and aren't meant to look photo real. Day1. Mid Day. Morning/Evening. Foggy Day. Stylised Lighting.
